A West Virginian Compendium
by David Thompson

A native of Hamlin, West Virginia, no one knows better than David Thompson all the state’s culture and richness. Growing up in wartime in an impoverished home, his family was not without its troubles and woes. However, through the diligence of his father and the strength of his mother, he led a full childhood, ripe with memories he will never forget.

As an adult, David Thompson loves returning to his home state of West Virginia, a place full of precious history and recollections. He wishes to share the tenderness and uniqueness of growing up in this state.
