From a most humble beginning as an unpaid errand boy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Osnald Calizaire, Sr. has done everything from working in a factory in New York City to taking vocational courses in welding to becoming a certified EKG technician. He is now a real estate investor and community advocate in Jacksonville, Florida. The founder of the Osnald Calizaire Sr. Youth Empowerment Association and the Osnald Calizaire Sr. Community Center & Therapeutic Recreations, he also heads two of today’s widely accessed humanitarian Internet sites: www.osnaldcalizaire.com and www.donationskidscare.org.

An amateur poet and lecturer selected several times by The International Library of Poetry as a semifinalist, Kimberly Collins has a positive outlook and an energetic zest for life. She is a member of Jacksonville’s Southwest Municipal Code of Enforcement Board and its National Leadership Training Institute Advisory Committee, and the Southern Poverty Law Center National Campaign for Tolerance.
