by Mont Ri’Chard

“It’s hard leading the life that I lead. So many wants, desires, and yes needs.” Swallow the Moon is a collection of poetry written with honesty and passion, leaving the reader with a sense of catharsis. Mont Ri’Chard grapples with his own identity as a black male in today’s society. From his “Early Years” where he explores what it means to be black, to the present as he searches for companionship and acceptance. Swallow the Moon captures the emotions and difficulties in the life of a young, black man.

Explicit adult material contained.
