Gloria Jenkins lives in New Jersey with her husband, Samuel. She is the mother of three children and a retired learning disability teacher consultant. She is a presenter for various Black History programs. Her other interests include long distance running and gardening.

Gloria Jenkins is a graduate of West Virginia State University. She completed her masterís degree at The College of New Jersey. Storm: The Peace Maker is her first published book.
