Tee is happy living in the ‘hood with Big Man, leader of the Black and Gold Gang, and all of their friends. Running into love at a chance encounter with Keith, a young architect, at a local supermarket changes all of this. Tee starts a forbidden affair with him, though she fears the wrath of her boyfriend.
In the end, Tee and Keith must stand against Big Man’s wrath, facing the final test that will prove their love.
Set in a world very much like our own, Terema Sturge’s play shows how two people’s affection can win through adversity and bring true happiness.
