by Albertine Dolores Beacham

Poetry from Past to Present presents a delightful collection of writings portraying one woman's outlook on life. Through her refreshing insights on some of life's everyday situations, Albertine Dolores Beacham shows how situations—both good and bad—can influence individuals.

Focusing mainly on family memories, holidays, and marriage, Beacham's simple yet eloquent language shares deep feelings of love, thankfulness, and sadness. Each poem offers a snapshot of a poignant life experience.

A self-employed writer, Albertine Dolores Beacham is a widow living in Columbus, Georgia. She and her late husband, Clarence Lee, shared five children: Yvonne Beacham, Bonnye Caldwell, Kim Brown, Tanya Ware, and Clayton Beacham. Prior to publishing Poetry from Past to Present, Ms. Beacham has been writing poetry for fun for more than sixty years.
