It’s as if a kindred spirit is talking to you… With his clear and compelling imagery, Donn touches on a variety of topics from the “every man’s” point of view, calming the reader into believing his extreme emotions are not his alone.
Expressing the universality and commonalty found within some of the most intense human experiences (romance, child abuse, post traumatic stress syndrome, lust), it’s as if Donn is opening his arms to comfort you.
He captures, with gentle tenderness, the raw emotions that feel unique to each individual reader. He swiftly moves from a light humorous tone while expressing man’s “lustfullness,” to a harshly honest description of our nation’s “welcoming home” of wartime soldiers, to the joyful calmness of listening to a bird chirp.
