(As Told by Pita, the Dog)
Being legal counselor-at-paw can be a very difficult job indeed! Sharing her tales of The Life and Travels of a Law Office Dog is Pita the dog, as told through her lady, Joan Poulos. Pita’s work is never done. Presiding over Joan’s law office from her personal den, she has taken on the responsibility of vetting new clients (a smell will tell a dog a thousand words), greeting and security, and keeping up with the office staff.
While away from her office duties, Pita’s job consists of taking care of Joan, her lady, who adopted her as a puppy and saved her from possible death. It’s a big job taking care of a lady—going on trips, going to Grange conventions, scaring away neighboring dogs, and sharing a kiss on the hand when needed—Pita takes her job seriously and does everything she can to make Joan’s life wonderful.
The Life and Travels of a Law Office Dog is a heartwarming story of woman and beast, partners and friends, each more beloved to one than the other. Joan and Pita share a story for the ages, a delightful tale you’ll want to read again and again.
