by Susan Lesley
Susan Lesley has been beaten, and has suffered humility, abuse, finding herself alone time and time again. Through a series of abusive relationships, she learns from a young age the difficulties of life and a familiarity with betrayal, theft, lies and bigotry. As she enters into one unhealthy marriage to another, she struggles to shield her three children from the horrors and disappointment of love gone sour and the constant turmoil they too would have to endure. Through her trials and tribulations, she collects a number of good friends and more than her fair share of bitter enemies, all contributing to the person she has become today.
Now she is telling her story, declaring her unwillingness to let it happen again and offering comfort and encouragement to readers still trapped in lives of abuse. Susan has found her calling as a hospice nurse and uses her gifts of healing and compassion to ease the suffering of others, both strangers and friends. Her inspiring story of endurance and courage offers a lifetime of lessons for those struggling or familiar with abuse.
