In this illustrated book for children, a king’s big toe begins to mysteriously grow larger with each passing day. When it becomes so large he cannot fit into his bedroom, he turns to his people for help. The person who can cure his toe will receive his crown as a token of thanks. Many try and fail until a little boy named Joe claims he holds the cure. Will Joe be able to help the king?
About the AuthorS. C. Norman is a lifelong native of Queens, New York, and is a retired elementary school teacher. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in English and a master’s degree in education from Hunter College. Professional clubs and organizations include Woodhaven-Richmond Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and her hobbies and special interests are writing children’s books, writing poetry, composing music, traveling, and knitting. Other works published include a magazine article for Animals titled “Inky was the Patriarch.”
About the IllustratorDorothea Masterson, residing in upstate NewYork, is a graduate of Hunter College with a degree in fine arts. Her hobbies are painting and singing, and she has performed in community theater. An animal lover, she has two greyhounds and five cats. She taught elementary school in New York City for 25 years.
