ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A bookkeeper at Power Transmission Services in Middletown, Delaware, Andrea Russell was inspired to write this book when her ten-year-old granddaughter with autism started going through puberty, and she wanted her to be able to relate to a text more geared toward younger girls that was simple and easy to understand.
Andrea and her husband, Rick, have three daughters: Kelly, Jennifer, and Erica. Her two granddaughters – Kaitlyn and Zoey – are the stars of her book! She is a member of the Autism Society of Delaware and the Special Olympics. She also loves to cook, sew, go to the beach, and spend time with her wonderful family.
