by Skip Christensen

Skip Christensen gives a step-by-step account of how people can overcome the addictions that weigh them down by accepting Jesus as their savior and putting their personal battles in his hands. Intertwining Bible verses with his own experiences with addiction, Skip inspires people from all walks of life to cast their troubles aside and depend on their faith in Jesus to help them navigate through life.

Skip offers a fresh perspective on the long-term outcomes of recovering from an addiction. By turning their worries over to Jesus, people no longer have to deal with the stigma of being labeled as an “addict.” Instead they can focus their energy on developing a deep and meaningful relationship with Jesus, while overcoming the fear and doubt that once ruled their lives.

Skip Christensen is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area in California and currently resides in Dublin, California, with his wife, Mitzi. Skip has four children: Jacob, Elizabeth, T.J., and Joshua. He is a lieutenant with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office and a member of the Kaleo Christian Fellowship in Oakland, California.
