As certified personal fitness trainer Byron Foster states, in recent years athletes have been achieving greatly enhanced levels of physical fitness because our knowledge of physical conditioning has been growing continuously. In El Toro Training Sports Conditioning Manual, he provides athletes of various disciplines with a plan for achieving their optimum level of fitness.
Athletes will learn how to develop their core power and extremity power, as well as speed and agility, the three main components of reaching peak physical condition. Nutritional recommendations are included as well, which help the athlete determine the proper fuel for his or her body.
In a highly accessible format, illustrations of the many exercises described in the book demonstrate the correct way to perform each part of the training process. Through this comprehensive guide, athletes will learn how to achieve and maintain their optimum performance.
