by Patricia Baranello
An adventurous little dog, Buddy tries so hard to be good for his mom and dad. He knows they want only the best for him, and he listens closely as his mom reads her daily devotions and teaches him the lessons of the Bible. However he finds it hard to “turn the other cheek” when it comes to his nemesis, the cat. She’s a bully, a tease, and has a bad attitude, despite Buddy trying so hard to be friends!
Geared toward elementary school children, Buddy talks to them personally and asks them what they would do in his situation, or what they think he should do in a particular instance. In doing so, Pat Baranello uses Buddy’s voice to impart a subtle moral lesson as he quotes scriptures applicable to the scrapes and adventures in which he finds himself involved.
Complete with adorable pictures of Buddy himself, children and adults alike will find themselves captivated by his charming and lively personality.
